Ok, like, I never thought about this, but this post literally explains how twisting the truth works.
Lucifer was someone who disagreed with authority and thus was marked as the source of all evil in existence.
And since the bible was written by humans and prior to that told from person to person, it suffered like every story that gets retold over and over and over again: It becomes biased.
So what if Lucifer originally wasn’t the bad guy? What if he was just nothing more than someone who disagreed with the authorities aka god? What the bible often likes to do, is to paint the world and it’s beings in black and white while the world is nothing more than a big mixmash of greys.
Point being: Don’t take the bible literally or you already lost.
I showed this picture to my mom and she explained me this. “Kids today don’t watch cartoons as much, when you were little you were addicted to cartoons. Nowadays there are so many social media sites and games that kids aren’t interested in cartoons anymore. Even at your age ( I’m 17) you still watch and enjoy watching cartoons because that’s how you grew up. While your sisters aren’t that interested in them because they have their electronic devices. That’s why cartoon network went from having a variety of cartoons to watch daily, to a select few that are now aired.”
The reason of this “change” is that the select few that were airing are ACTUAL cartoon network cartoons. The 2002 picture features 2/4 of hanna-barberra cartoons and was shown ONLY in the PPG movie premiere. The 2012 picture are only bumpers in-between movies that show on CN. If you take the HB cartoons out of the equation, the change isn’t very distant from each other.
